My name is Nubia Alexandra Salinas and I’ve been chasing the sun AKA my dreams for a long time. Unfortunately, a manic episode and a new bipolar disorder diagnosis set my dream back another year after working hard just to get into vet school.

I am here to say that I am going to be okay and I am not giving up. I will be Doctor Nubia Alexandra Salinas one day. Hopefully, by May 2028.

With that being said, I want to break down mental health barriers by advocating for mental health for people and their pets.
